Although you can usually watch an advert now to get a reward rather than negotiating with it, but it isn’t the full amount and you don’t always get this option. If this happens you will not earn the simoleons or XP you would have got if it didn’t turn into a sim eating plant and you will have to negotiate with it for 3 minutes before you can use the patch again.
